The Serenity Center Counseling Ministry exists to equip people to handle the battles that Satan brings into their life. We serve as the bridge between our ministers and professional counseling to bring peace of mind, happiness, and serenity to individuals desiring to become fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ.
The Serenity Center Counseling Ministry is an extension of Shelby Christian Church. There is no charge for our services. The services of this resource are open to both members of Shelby Christian Church, and members of the community at large. The Serenity Center has a variety of help groups to provide group settings in which people build relationships and work through struggles together. The Serenity Center also offers counseling to individuals, couples, and families. The Serenity Center makes available the resources of both a licensed psychologist and a medical physician. We are here to help our church and community grow physically, mentally, and spiritually.
The Serenity Center also offers several CARE Groups that serve those in the Shelby Christian Church family who have special needs. Whether it be visiting those in nursing homes or shut-ins, contacting those in our church family who are in physical or spiritual need, or welcoming new families to our community, the CARE groups are ministries that are designed to reach out with the love of Christ to those in need.
