COVID-19   August 2020

• New information and guidance concerning COVID -19 is given on a regular basis. We continue to be a church committed to public safetycommunity partnership and in-person corporate worship. The balance between these objectives is very challenging for our church leaders and staff.
• We believe our worship services are safe for those who chose to attend our in-person services. We observe social distancing guidance and encourage attendees to wear masks when entering, moving about, and leaving the building.
• Our worship auditorium and children’s areas continue to be cleaned between each Sunday service. Hand sanitizer and masks are provided at each entrance.
• As of 8/2/20 we have changed the way we are sharing in communion. Instead of taking communion when you enter the building, it will now be offered during the service at communion stations in the auditorium.
• Starting 8/9/20, we will no longer require attendees to pre- register for services. If we need to contact a certain group of people concerning contact tracing, we will do so with clear communication from the Executive Team.
• Our Early Childhood and Elementary Ministry Team are making plans for a return to regular SC KIDS! programming during the 3rd hour of service when schools resume in-person instruction.
• Our Youth Team is currently making plans for a return to Wednesday evening programming. Our Executive Team is discussing a kick-off date and will make an announcement soon.
• Church building use is still very limited so that we know who has been in the building and that the building can be properly cleaned prior to services.
• Our Executive Team monitors CDC updates and guidelines on a regular basis to determine when any changes to schedule need to be made. We are committed to public safetycommunity awareness and corporate worship.
• Our Elder Team continues to meet in prayer regularly as they seek God’s guidance and wisdom concerning future decisions concerning COVID-19.
• We encourage you to join us in praying fervently for God’s divine healing, protection, and peace over our families, communities, and nation during these uncertain times.
