Camp season is just around the corner!  We love Camp Calvary and CIY conferences around here. We also love to help SCC families attend these life-changing weeks when it’s possible and needed. We are issuing limited scholarships and vouchers again this summer.

 

Here are a few things to remember as you prepare for the summer:

 

ü If you would appreciate the assistance of scholarship funds from Shelby Christian Church to help offset the cost of Camp Calvary or CIY conferences this summer, please complete the scholarship form and return it to the youth minister who oversees your child/student’s area. This form must be returned prior to the week of camp/conference in order to receive the scholarship. (See youth ministers for forms)

 

ü Once this form is returned to a minister and approved, your child/student will receive a voucher for the scholarship. If the voucher is for Camp Calvary it must be presented upon check-in at Camp Calvary. The camp staff will not credit you with a scholarship from SCC if you do not have the voucher. The Student Ministry staff will manage the vouchers for CIY weeks.

 

ü Please understand that these scholarships are made available through the mission support of SCC. Scholarships are very limited and are reserved for families who could not attend summer events any other way. Scholarships are available for one week only.

 

ü Families still need to complete the camp registration material for Camp Calvary or the CIY summer conference you will be attending.

 

ü If your child/student needs a full scholarship for Camp Calvary please apply for additional support through the camp’s scholarship fund.
