School Mentor Workshop

“RELATE!” is a program offered through Shelby Christian Church to provide education, training and support for those desiring to bear witness to others the love of Christ though the development of authentic and meaningful relationships. Training workshops are offered to volunteers interested in our church youth ministries (elementary and student) and for those interested in our community outreach ministries (elementary reading program, middle and high school mentoring). The program is designed to help onboard volunteers for a successful start in these ministries, provide on-going topic workshops and facilitate support for volunteers through regularly scheduled “gatherings” (where volunteers can have a place to get support, re-charge and find “community” with each other).
