We are partnering with International Disaster Emergency Services to serve those impacted by the tornado storms on 12/11/21:

IDES exists to meet physical and spiritual needs of suffering people throughout the world in the name of Jesus Christ.

• IDES coordinators have met with local EMA from the affected Kentucky counties, as well as several Christian/Church of Christ churches to establish a volunteer base camp.
• IDES will be partnering with Bowling Green Christian Church to bring volunteers to help with debris cleanup (chainsaws and heavy equipment).
• IDES is leading volunteers in Western Kentucky to help with the relief efforts following the devastating tornadoes that hit this weekend. Our initial relief efforts will be in Bowling Green, KY. Contacts have also been established in Mayfield and surrounding areas.

Several volunteers are needed for both overnight and day volunteer opportunities. Volunteers will be helping with debris removal (chainsaws and heavy equipment) and placing tarps on damaged roofs.
